PINTABS Studio Arts Group

PINTABS Studio Arts Group is the academic group of PWU School of Fine Arts and Design, created to cater to students’ need to express themselves through studio art practices and develop artistic skills within conducive environmental and community conditions. It aims to engage with contemporary art through modes of critical and creative thinking, explore the interrelationships among different disciplines, and prepare future artists among Fine Arts students.

SIDS – The Society of Interior Design Students

SIDS – The Society of Interior Design Students is the official student organization of Interior Design students under the School of Fine Arts and Design. SIDS is in charge of all activities and events under the Interior Design program and extends its assistance, service, and support to the students under the Interior Design program and other activities assigned by the EXCOMM or SFAD to this body.

OBSCURA

The mission of the Obscura Photography Club is to provide a supportive environment for interested photography students to share their creativity, knowledge, and passion for photography while attending Philippine Women’s University. The purpose of this club shall be

  1. Promote photographic interest within the university;
  2. Promote photographic competitions and provide educational workshops;
  3. Provide meeting places for club activities and round table discussions;
  4. Promote the club and its members through the public display of photography;
  5. Provide photographic instruction and mentoring & Strive to have fun with photography;
  6. Present topics for inspiration, education, motivation, and the artistry of photography.

SPID

The Society of Philwomenian Industrial Design (SPID) aims to achieve a creative environment ideal for exchanging ideas for refinement and innovation. Thus, establishing a healthy relationship between designers and student designers carries excellence and discipline in enhancing their skills and mindset.

TRIFECTA

Trifecta holds onto its Mission which aims to transform individuals with their visions and transcend their creative skills and craft that will pursue them to reflect into different artistic fields of media, advertising, and communications with credibility, significance, and innovation in this contemporary age. At the same time, TRIFECTA envisions itself as a foundation of creativity of the entire PWU student community and serves as an instrument to build connections through Visual Communication.

EXECOM

The Executive Committee provides the extracurricular academic space for all SFAD learners and complies with the transformative learning system of PWU. Its unifying direction and activities exemplify the program objectives and commitment of the School and the University in areas of photography, visual, performance, multimedia arts, interior design, and industrial design. It encourages dialogues with the organization’s respective program departments for the enhancement of knowledge and data needed for skills, concept development, and research. It provides the motivation for learning and creating.
