Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Industrial Design

Referencing a wealth of resources such as historical styles, indigenous crafts, popular trends, and latest technologies in the use of materials and processes, the curriculum of Industrial Design is directed toward the student’s understanding and creation of product, package and systems design, and development to help and improve the quality of life.

Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Painting

The Painting Program intends to train students to develop creative skills on visual propensity based on discipline, analytical thinking, and artistic integrity. Its aesthetic pedagogy is geared towards visual exploration that respects tradition and values social accountability. With its main thrust centered on art practice as research, it also aims to prepare the students to be competitive players in the future’s local and global contemporary art scene.

Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Visual Communication

Focusing on advanced use of traditional and current technologies to create effective advertising, publishing, editorial, corporate, information website, and new media design, the student is educated to become a media specialist who gives form to ideas and information. Equal emphasis is given to concept development and problem-solving skills that may apply to professional pursuits.

Bachelor of Science in Interior Design

The practice of Interior design is the act of planning, designing, supervising, and administration of both functional and aesthetic arrangements to the development of interiors of buildings and residences in order to enhance living spaces.

Bachelor of Fine Arts ETEEAP (Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program)

ETEEAP (Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program) allows individuals to attain an academic degree through an assessment process that recognizes, credits, and gives equivalencies to knowledge, skills, and prior learning gained from relevant formal, non-formal, and informal training and work experiences. The Philippine Women’s University is one of the institutions deputized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to implement this program.

As a Bachelor of Fine Arts Student, you will

  • Be adaptive to the practice of traditional and digital media as a means of communication materials, with a good command of effective communication and presentation of art and design concepts.
  • Participate in the study of design theories, traditional and digital arts, inter-active
    multi-media, and creative management.
