About Office of the Vice President for External Affairs

The Office of the Vice President for External Affairs (OVPEA) serves as the University’s strategic gateway for building meaningful partnerships, expanding institutional visibility, and strengthening relationships with stakeholders beyond the campus. It leads initiatives that connect the University with industry, government, non-government organizations, international institutions, and community partners to advance the University’s mission and long-term development.

The Office develops and manages strategic collaborations, partnership agreements, corporate engagement, resource generation initiatives, and community outreach programs that create opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and the institution as a whole. It also promotes the University’s reputation by fostering sustainable networks that support academic excellence, innovation, research, workforce development, and social responsibility.

Vision

The External Affairs office will be the primary office that will deal with PWU’s partners and stakeholders through the following offices and functions: Institutional Linkages, Career Placement Office, Scholarship Programs and International Student Development Program.

Mission

The External Affairs Office is the clearinghouse for evaluating external linkages, programs and agreements that will commit the departments, resources, students and brand of PWU in any collaborative efforts to enhance the learning environment of all stakeholders.
