The PWU Alumni Association 2019-2022 in cooperation with Philippine Women’s University presented TITA HELEN A Musicale on her Life, Philosophies, and Aspirations last Sunday, June 27, 2021 Livestreamed on Zoom, PWU.OfficialFanpage and YouTube via PWU_Official.
This tribute was held on her 107th birth Anniversary which featured performances from the Bayanihan National Dance Company, PWU and JASMS Alumni and Students.
It featured the life of Tita Helen as a youth, as PWU President, in the government, as an inspiration to women, as an environmentalist and as founder of the Bayanihan National Dance Company.
The main thrust of the PWUAA 2019-22 is to provide scholarships to students who are unable to finish their studies especially during this time of the pandemic.
This event not only paid tribute to Tita Helen and showcased the talents of our alumni and students, this musical also opened the doors for other PWU Alumni to support the association’s goal.
