JASMS QC Tops InCEthink Bridge Building Competition

Students from PWU JASMS QC brought home the Championship and 1st Runner Up titles at the recently concluded InCEthink 2019 Bridge Building competition held last September 28, 2019 at the University of the Philippines–Diliman, Quezon City

The U.P. Association of Civil Engineering Students (U.PACES) has been organizing the annual National Civil Engineering Summit held in U.P. Diliman every September for the last 14 years. They invite high school students from different schools in Metro Manila to tour the U.P. Diliman engineering/ laboratory facilities, attend lectures-symposiums and compete in their Bridge Building contest.

THE PWU JASMS QC Team has been winning the competition for the past four years. The winning team for this year is composed of Grade 12 STEM students namely: Katrina Mae Prestoza, Katherine Kaye Prestoza, Ariane Ragmac, Jascha Ramar Castillo, Regina Louise De Guzman, and Hannah Jane Sorita from the Arts and Design Track.

They were trained by their Science Teacher and Coach, Ace York Caezar B. Penuela, who was assisted by Teacher Paul Keenan C. Butt. This victory of the PWU JASMS QC students is another reason to be proud during PWU’s celebration of its centennial year.
