A 15% discount on all school fees for the 1st Trimester will be extended to JMD and PWU JASMS High School graduates who pursue tertiary studies at PWU and for JASMS elementary graduates who will
pursue High School studies at JMD or PWU JASMS High School. To avail of further discounts in subsequent trimesters, he/she should qualify for any of the available academic scholarships.
Furthermore, the testing fee will be waived for these students. Their profiles will be forwarded from the JMD/High School Guidance Office to the Tertiary Guidance
Office for the required profiling. They can be given aptitude tests if the need arises.
JASMS Elementary/JMD/Non-JASMS Elementary Graduate
- JASMS elementary valedictorians going to JMD will be given 100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees;
- Salutatorians, 50% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees. First three Honorable mentions, 25% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees.
- The above privileges are also applicable to non-JASMS elementary graduates with honors who wish to enrol at JMD.
- Two Children/Parent-Child Enrolled
- A five percent discount will be provided to the second of two (2) children enrolled with PWU. For instance, if the
eldest of the two (2) children is in Second year, the First year student receives the discount.
- Three Children/Parent-Child Enrolled
- A 7% discount will be given to the third child provided the first two (2) children continue studying at PWU. In the
above example, granting that the first two (2) who enrolled are now Third year and Second year, the third child enrolling in
First year gets a 7% discount.
- Four Children/Parent-Child Enrolled
- The fourth child to be enrolled receives a 10% discount, provided the first three children continue their studies at PWU.
- Discounts are not transferable.
Discounts will be applied on ALL school fees assessed to the students during the enrollment period.
The target beneficiaries of the Iskolar ni Magsaysay program shall be those qualified and talented but poor young Filipinos who express the need to obtain quality education
in the bachelor's or certificate courses as may be specified in the grant. Each grantee shall enjoy the scholarship
privileges to cover tuition and school-related expenses per semester under the subject program as follows: tuition & miscellaneous & other school fees and book allowance &
stipend may be provided upon recommendation of the Office of the Senator and subject to the availability of scholarship funds.
Qualification/Documentary Requirements
- Birth Certificate of natural-born Filipino citizen
- Income Tax Return (ITR)/Certificate of Exemption to file ITR from the BIR or Certificate of Indigency to be issued by the Barangay Captain certifying that the
student comes from an indigent family with parents/guardians whose annual income does not exceed one hundred fifty thousand pesos (Php 150,000.00) per year
- Must be willing to enroll in the CHED identified priority courses at PWU
- Form 138 (Report Card)/High School PEPT result/Transcript of Records or Certificate of Grades
- Certificate of good moral character from his/her High School Principal or College Dean
- Certificate of good health
- Notice of admission from PWU
The PESFA, established by virtue of RA 6728, "An Act Providing Government Assistance to the Students and Teachers in Private Education (GASPE) and Appropriating Funds
Thereof" is a study grant for qualified and deserving college freshmen who intend to enroll or are presently enrolled in priority courses in selected HEIs and who are
not more than 30 years of age at the time of application.

- Not more than 30 years of age at the time of application to the program
- Latest BIR Income Tax Return of applicant's parents or guardians having a gross annual income of not more than Php 120,000.00

If an applicant qualifies to more than one scholarship/financial grant, he/she will be eligible to multiple discounts.
The university may offer early bird discounts at its discretion every trimester for cash payment.
The Edward and Eva Underwood Charitable Foundation scholarship is awarded to students to provide educational opportunities to them and to enable them to pursue their studies.
To be considered for scholarship support, all applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Philippine, French or Canadian nationality
- Must be able to demonstrate financial need
- Proof of over-average study record
In order to qualify for the scholarship students must send in a completed application form with supporting documentation. Original materials will not be returned.
All applicants must authorize the release of any information relating to their application to the Edward and Eva Underwood Charitable Foundation. Information may be requested from
high school, college, university, government, or community sources, and may include personal evaluations and transcripts.
Scholarships are awarded to cover tuition, fees, and other school related expenses. Scholarship accounts can be created at the educational institution at which the recipient is enrolled.
Applicants are evaluated based upon the applicant's demonstrated financial need, career goals, academic and/or volunteer record. Financial documentation may be required to demonstrate financial need.
The High School Class of IV LT Class '71 is launching a high scholarship in honor of their classmate, Emily Navarro Abinoja. This is under the guidance of the principal, Ms. Luz Fajardo and their
former class adviser, Mrs. Nannette Ladrido.
The objective is to provide tuition support to a deserving and financially-challenged third or fourth year high school student.
The PWU Association is raising an initial seed money of $10,000 for the HZB Faculty Development Endowment Fund.
Initially, the HZB Endowment Fund will subsidize the in-house professional growth sessions that will benefit more members of the community. When funds permit, it will subsidize costs for attending national
and international conferences and other professional for a Funding assistance can also be extended to faculty research.
All faculty who wish to pursue their master's degree can now avail of salary loan equivalent to tuition and miscellaneous fees at any school of their choice.
Those who will avail of the loan shall be required three (3) years of service at PWU immediately after finishing their master's degree and the loan shall be payable in 2 years.
All applicants must be endorsed by their respective deans to the scholarship committee for screening and approval of application.
Allocation of the grant for thesis/dissertation writing grants which most of the faculty and employees can not pursue due to the high costs of fees involved.
As part of our University commitment to create a school of healthy students, and fostering university spirit and pride through sports and recreation, the Office of Sports
Development launched the Dean Conrado Benitez Sports Scholarship.
To show our great appreciation and support to our PWU-JASMS players who have given the university recognition and pride, the Dean Conrado Benitez Sports Scholarship is now extending
its financial assistance to PWU-JASMS players interschool competitions. Please see the Scholarship Office for the implementing guidelines.
TESDA will provide 150 scholarships to PWU worth Php 750,000 and will be distributed to the different Occupational Areas of Hotel and Restaurant Services.
The PGMA-LEP Scholarship is released through the Technical Educational and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and is worth Php 5,000 for each scholar. This scholarship is
good only for one term. Please see the Scholarship Office for the implementing guidelines.
The Program aims to provide assistance to financially needy 3rd year, 4th year and graduating college students and to qualified students whose allowance for tuition is delayed due to
force majeur or other unforeseen/unavoidable circumstances; raise the level of efficiency and effectiveness in the management and administration of a student loan program by involving private higher
education institutions as government partner-implementers.
Loanable Amount
- The loanable amount shall cover TUITION FEE only;
- The maximum loanable amount shall be determined by the PWU; provided, it shall not exceed the amount billed by the school for the TUITION FEE during the semester. Maximum loanable amount is Php 20,000.00.
Eligibility Criteria
- For Short-Term Loan
- The loan borrower is a bonafide student of the PWU
- The loan borrower cannot possibly pay the tuition on time for the semester due to force majeur
- The combined income of parents of the loan borrower is not more than Php 200,000.00 per year
- Other eligibility criteria as the PWU may deem necessary
- For Long-Term Loan
- The loan borrower is a bonafide student of the PWU
- The loan borrower must either be a 3rd, 4th or 5th year student
- The combined income of parents of the loan borrower is not more than Php 200,000.00 per year
- Other eligibility criteria as the PWU may deem necessary
NOTE: Priority for loan shall be given to the victims of the College Assurance Plan (CAP) and other failed pre-need educational plans.
Repayment Method
- For short-term loan, the amortization period shall not be more than three (3) months;
- For long-term loan, the amortization shall not be more than one (1) year after graduation.
