PWU joined "No to Mining in Palawan" signature campaign with ABS-CBN

The Philippine Women's University joined the "No to Mining in Palawan" signature campaign with Regina Lopez (standing), managing director of ABS-CBN Foundation as keynote speaker. Shown seated are PWU Board Chairperson Dr. Helena Z Benitez who led the signing ceremonies and President Dr. Francisco Benitez who in his welcome remarks urged the participants shown here giving their support, to save bio-diversity in Palawan, known as the country's last ecological frontier. The assembly held at the Conrado Benitez Hall, Taft campus was organized by the School of Environment and Habitat and the Environmental Science Society with the Public Relations Office.
