Gab on Environmental Protection set at PWU

The Philippine Women's University Doctor of Education (Ed.D) Alumni Chapter and Allied Health Services will hold a lecture-forum "Environmental Education for the Future" on November 15, 2011 (Tuesday), 2:00 pm at the Conrado Benitez Hall, Taft campus, Manila.

The holding of the event, according to Dr. Lualhati Trias, president of the Ed.D. alumni chapter said is in celebration of the Environmental Month.

Keynote speaker is Dr. Nereus Acosta presidential adviser for Environmental Protection and general manager of Laguna Lake Development Authority who will talk on "Redesigning Environmental Education for the Future", while resource speaker Prof. Rene Romero of Philippine Normal University will lecture on "Climate Change: Adaptation and Mitigation".

President Dr. Francisco Benitez of PWU will give the opening remarks, afterwhich Board Chairperson Dr. Helena z Benitez will deliver her inspirational message.
