Upon the personal invitation of Governor Linda Lingle of the State of Hawaii, Dr. Reyes attended the 3rd Annual International Women's Leadership Conference: Women with No Limits.  As one of the keynote speakers, Dr. Reyes share her personal and professional insights on women's issues to an audience of 400 women leaders from various fields of expertise, as well as students from Hawaii universities, college and high schools.

It will be recalled that Governor Lingle personally invited the PWU President during her visit to the Philippines in January 2006,  and specifically during the NCWP-hosted symposium "Issues on Women Empowerment", January 10, 2006 at the Conrado Benitez Hall.

In the same trip, Dr. Reyes also formalized agreements in a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  The MOU was drafted by the Deans of the UH at Manoa School of Social Work and the Philippine School of Social Work.
