Qualifications


Dr. Amelou B. Reyes academic achievements include a double cum laude at the Philippine Women’s University – Bachelor of Arts, major in Psychology, and Bachelor of Science, major in guidance and counseling. She completed her Master of Arts in Psychology at the Ateneo de Manila University. She garnered another masteral degree in Sociology and a doctoral degree in Development Education from Stanford University major in Political Sociology

The National Council of Women of the Philippines with the City Women’s Council of Marikina City celebrated the close of Women’s Month with a program at the Marikina Sports Center on the themes “NCWP’s Legacy: Women’s Ascendancy in the Global Millennium” and “Cedaw ng Bayan: Kabuhayan ng Kababaihan” Seated at center is keynote speaker Dr. Helena Z Benitez, NCWP adviser emeritus and board chairperson of the Philippine Women’s University.
