The Philippine Women’s University, now on its 91st founding anniversary and the Jose Abad Santos Memorial School will hold Centenarun on February 27, 2010, 5:30 am at the SM Mall of Asia ground in Pasay City, a kickoff activity towards the institution’s centenary in 2020.
The fun run will be led by the icons and pillars of the PWU led by nonagenarian diplomat and lifetime educator Dr. Helena Z Benitez, Isabel Santos, artistic director of Philippine Bayanihan Dance Company; Dr. Amelou B. Reyes and Dean Rosario Bitanga and the alumni.
Invited to join are guests of PWU, among them 99 year-old Corazon Apostol Moya and daughter, Dr. Amelia Agcaoili.
Alfredo Reyes, PWU CEO and board trustee is enjoining the PWU community, parents and running enthusiasms to participate in the fun run which covers 1.5,5 and 10 kilometer run.
Registration sites for participants are CHRIS Sports branches in SM North Edsa-annex, MOA and Megamall B and Glorietta 3.
Cash prizes await the winners of “PWU’s race to its centenary” organized by PWU and eXtribe, inc.
