A fund- raising concert “An Evening of Art and Music” featuring Pinoy Dream Academy Grand Star Dreamer Laarni Losada under the auspices of the PWU Alumni Association, will be held on Dec. 5,2008, 8:00 pm at Philamlife Auditorium, UN Avenue, Manila.

Performing artists from PWU who are part of the concert include Dean of Performing Arts Harold Galang as musical director: singing champions Willamar Ruadilla and Marc Alarcio; and singer/composer Anderson Go with the Ambassadors of Light.

Invited performers are AMANAK, a noted father and daughter singing duo from Davao City, trumpeter from the U.S. Nick Mascetta and the United Methodist Church (UMC) “Church of the Savior” Vested Choir. Serving as masters of ceremonies are Drs. Dolores Carrion and Fiel Nierva.

Works of contemporary visual artists from PWU will be on exhibit under the direction of School of Fine Arts Emeritus Dean Rosario Bitanga-Peralta.

The event is being staged to support the PWU’s 90th Founding Anniversary projects which will kick-off on February 19, 2009.
